Jpeg to RAW / vertical line artifacts

I bought Jpeg to RAW recently and I found the better the Jpeg input the worse is the outcome.
Really poor quality files gain from the procedure. But when I try to enhance good quality jpegs to RAW file the AI produce strange vertical lines. These outcome is not usable.

Use TIF rather than DNG and see if that makes a difference.

I tested both before I went to the community.

I had vertical artifacts when using Sharpen AI recently. When I went to submit a note to support, I read that I should restart computer after a software update. I did that and reprocessed an image that was bad. It came out fine.
