Issue while testing with Prob4

I was testing with Independence day, upscaling a clip.
Proteus 3

Proteus 4

Notice George Washington, which should be blurry like the rest of the background photo.
You need a way to recognize depth.
Gere is a version you can click to see differences. Also notice the lamp shade in 3 is much more detailed in 3 than it is in 4.

Thanks,
Ben

If I know this company you will not get a reply of which you deserve.
Version 4 is crap, give it another couple of years and try again.
Try AVCLabs, it is very slow but the Ultra (Multi-frame) face recognition settings work and background is on par with Proteus 3 estimated settings.

Slow down man, v4 is in beta. Feedback is helpful but I don’t think being a jerk about it is helpful for anyone.

I have posted problems on the forums before that only I mentioned and they were fixed in a subsequent release. Posts here probably get turned into a ticket on their issue board, just because they don’t close the loop with the public forum complaints doesn’t mean no one is reading.

v4 is not even beta level.
I will give whatever feedback I see fit.
Calling me a jerk is not very smart.
Topaz needs a reality check.
Wake up.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for your feedback. We’re actively tuning Proteus v4 and examples of processing errors and visual issues like these are very helpful to our dev team.

Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with!

Thank you, the purpose of my post was to provide a couple examples to the dev team to help out in development.

No just no.

I test it right now and topazlabs, even with P4 Beta, is closer to the original than AVC labs.

The faces are wrong, enhanced with other peoples faces not even close to the original face, my cousin looks 15 but not 38.

I can’t use a preview but just press export.

The Photoapp of AVC has an massive tile problem.
