DNG images taken on an iPhone 15 Pro Max with ProRAW enabled are very dark when opened in Photo AI. They appear perfectly fine in Apple Photos, Adobe Lightroom, and the macOS Preview application. I didn’t find anything addressing this issue on the forums here, or on Google. I also do not see any options that may help in the settings.
Steps to reproduce issue:
- Open image in Lightroom, Apple Photos or Preview. Image appears fine.
- Open the same image DNG file directly in Photo AI. Image is very dark and lacking lighting.
Topaz Photo AI 3.2.0 on macOS 14.6.1
Additional info from logs suggests it is not able to find a camera profile to load and defaulting to “Standard” Instead, which may be the problem.
