i got last year a DVD set of “birds of prey” failed DC show when smallville was a thing. all the episodes have the interlace so prominent in most of the quick changing shots you do see a jagged image like a window blind overlapped to the image. even on the CGI effects. i guess the original footage was not interlaced and was converted to save DVD space. well VEAI cannot fix it. on some shots it hides it in others is more prominent. here is an example. do notice the blue “rays” covered on interlace lines.
