Installation is too slow

It is downloading something during the installation but too slow. My internet is fine and have no connection problem.

I want to get some more information to troubleshoot the problems you are facing during the installation process. Please follow the directions below:

First, please disable antivirus, firewall, VPN, or proxy that may be on your computer. These are known to block the installer from downloading the model files. Then, please follow the below instructions to get the installer log for Topaz Photo AI.

  1. Delete all Photo AI installers from your Downloads folder.

  2. Download the latest Topaz Photo AI installer from your the following link: Topaz Labs Download Page

  3. Make sure the installer is in your Downloads folder and has the filename: TopazPhotoAI-3.3.1.msi

  4. Open Command Prompt from your Start menu. You can type in Command Prompt in Search and open it.

  5. Copy and paste “cd downloads” (without the quotes) into the Command Prompt and hit Enter.

  6. Copy and paste “msiexec /i TopazPhotoAI-3.3.1.msi /l*v logfile.txt” (without the quotes) into the Command Prompt and hit Enter.

  7. The installer should open up. Run it as usual.

  8. After the installation finishes, please send me “logfile” created in your Downloads folder.

This should show me exactly what is happening in the installer that is blocking the internet connection if the issue isn’t any of the above security applications.

the log file is attached. but of course I cancelled the installation after the download began. I can not complete the installation. If I wait for the end It will probably take days. This is why I asked for help. I hope this log file work. thank you.

Are you able to try a different ISP or wifi connection?

This is not the first I installed the program before without a problem. I have just upgraded my hardware so I’m trying to reinstall it. By the way I installed Topaz Video AI recently without problem. I don’t think it is about my connection. I also tried wired connection.

Yesterday I tried to install it using a VPN app and It has been completed. I connected to a Eur server. This may mean the server you use for installation files has been banned by the Turkish government by mistake. Because the Turkish government usually bans internet sites which It thinks have connections with terror organizations and porn sites, etc. There is no reason to ban Topaz. Video AI connection is already run without a problem. If this is a common problem in Turkey (I don’t know) Its reason may be the government restrictions. As a result I installed the program, thank you for your attention. Note: Installation takes a long time even with the full speed connection. I think this kind of big data must be downloaded before the installation. Thanks anyway.
