hello !
working mostly with pal incests from digiBeta,
the resulting files are allways 720x576 pixel
and these pixels are unsquare:
- for 4:3 video the equivalent in square would be 768x576 (1:1,067)
- for 16:9 video the equivalent in square would be 1024x576 (1:1,422)
!! for correct scaling in Topaz Video it would be great if one could set the PAR in the input settings accordingly to get correct sized skalings!!
++ sometimes the borders of a digitized video from tape are having some small glitches that should be cutted away before scaling. to make this, an overscan feature in the input settings could help (plus small hor/vert shift possibility)
