Anyone expert in color setting know something about the setting of imput color?
Start to make some setting and see difference..on my source find this
color space: bt470bg
color primary: bt470m
color trc: gamma22
Source are dvd 720x480 maybe NTSC. I search and bt470bg are the old bt601
try to set all on smpte170m and color look more natural
Need to change something for more accurated color?
in the setting there are bt709 (pal?) but miss bt601…
The input color override setting does not convert the color space. It is meant to change how the app interprets the color space for input clips with incorrect color space metadata. The actual color space will remain the same, and the metadata may not update when exporting.
I make some test changing value and see what mediainfo tell…so this is for most of the value
