Incorrect Colors when importing Topaz output into Photoshop Elements 2023

When I process a Nikon Z8 NEF (Raw) file in Topaz, whites change to pink shades when imported into Photoshop Elements 2023. This does not happen with images from Nikon Z9.

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Step 1 Import Nikon Z8 .NEF file into Topaz, process and save.
  2. Step 2 Open .dng file with Photoshop Elements 2023. Image looks pink!

*Same image .JPG processed through Topaz Photo AI does not have this problem.

  • Images from Nikon Z9 do not have this problem.

Thanks for reaching out. This is a known issue that we are working on a fix for.

This will be fixed in 1-2 weeks. For now, I would recommend importing the NEF to Photoshop Elements first and using the Filter plugin to process the image instead of using Topaz Photo AI first.

I can follow up once we have this fixed.

We added a fix for this color shift issue with the Z8 HE* files in v2.0.2. Please update and use the Raw processing, the colors will stay consistent now!
