In-App Updating from 7.1.1 or 7.1.2 to 7.1.3

We are aware of users experiencing errors within the app attempting to update from v7.1.1 or v7.1.2 to 7.1.3. You may see the “2 Updates Available” in the right corner of the screen when you open the Gigapixel application.

The conflict occurs after choosing the update button and the app does not complete the update or shuts down the application.

This appears to be affecting Windows users.

We have resolved the issue going forward but the users impacted currently best workaround solution need to uninstall the current version and re-download the direct installer.

Please follow these steps:

To Uninstall your previous version:

  1. Close your installed Gigapixel if it’s open.

  2. Search for “Add or remove programs” in your Windows search bar and open it.

  3. Search for “Gigapixel” in the search bar, and once you’ve found it, select “Uninstall.”

To install v7.1.3:

  1. Head to our Downloads page and scroll down to find the Gigapixel Windows installer.

  2. After the installer is downloaded, open the file to follow our installation wizard.
