Here’s a recent example of what I’m seeing with particular images and running noise reduction on them. It’s weird to see artifacts turned into cilia. This effect is extremely difficult to get rid of. Just wanted you to be aware.
Is this image a digital camera image or a scan? If it is a scan there isn’t much you can do about it as the models have not been trained on scans. You can use a pixel editor to get rid of those artifacts.
Tried to reply on my phone and didn’t work very well. Thank you for responding. The only images I scan are old family photos. Every other source is a digital photo. This issue happened before and it went away and then came back. So there’s been a regression or some type of bug reintroduced or something maybe the Cuda driver environment. I haven’t run any of the dumps through my debugger, but I will. The completely silent crashes do create a dump file.
