I have been using Topaz Photo AI successfully. Recently I have had instances in which I select an image in LrC (v 14.01) and choose File → Plug-in Extras → Process with Topaz Photo AI as I normally would. However, rather than starting Topaz Photo AI with the image loaded, Topaz Photo AI (v 3.3.3) is started up as if I had started it in stand-alone mode. The menu appears asking me to drag and drop an image or select an image to be edited. I have no idea what the problem is. I was using the application earlier and it worked fine.
I have tried closing LrC and restarting, closing Topaz Photo AI. restarting my Mac (macOS Sonoma 14.7.1) all to no avail. The photo is question is a RAW file from a Canon EOS R5 (not Mark II).
