At times, most images dragged from windows explorer and dropped onto Photo AI do not display properly. They are displayed as single-color solid rectangles with the same proportions as the original image.The rectangle color appears to be taken from the image.
At other times, dropped images display correctly.
When displayed incorrectly, images are still analyzed by autopilot and, if saved, saved images do get enhanced. Of course, the affect of changing any enhancement cannot be viewed before saving the image because the image is not displayed correctly.
The previous images collection in the upper right corner does display the image correctly. When Photo AI is closed, reopened, and a previous image that wasn’t shown correctly when dropped is selected, it is displayed correctly.
I have not been able to isolate any system condition(s) such as low memory or graphic card usage that might be causing the issue. This machine has 128GB of ram, a 32 core CPU, and an RTX 3080 ti graphics card.
