If the original file is 23.976 FPS, what’s the best setting for frame interpolation?
What frame rate do you want to go to? For that frame rate, I usually times it by 2.5 to get close to 60. It’s 59.94.
Source material state & quality notwithstanding, do this: Activate 2X Deinterlace & fixed FPS output of 59,**, by way of “Enhancement”, marking the input as Interlaced, and enough of that freezed dry tasters choice “Dione”, use “Iris LQ”, run it, come back 2Pass it with Frame Interpolation “X2”
