Is your installation failing or are you unable to log into your apps?
Generally, if you encounter this situation, your connection is being blocked from our server. This may be due to cache, cookies, VPN, proxy, firewall, anti-virus software, cloud settings, or Windows Defender / Windows Defender SmartScreen.
Turning off whatever security feature is blocking our server should allow you to proceed. If you’re unaware of any blocker you’re using, here are some basic fixes. Please try all the options, and let us know if one works for you.
Check for blockers. Temporarily disable any VPN, firewall, proxy, or antivirus software and try again. If it works, add our sites and apps to safe lists.
Try another device. Use a different computer, tablet, or phone on the same network to see if it’s device-specific.
Adjust browser security settings. Make sure cookies, pop-ups, and redirects are enabled. In Chrome: go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Third-Party Cookies and enable Allow third-party cookies.
The answers do not relate. It is not an activation or download issue. It’s that I click “update available” and then go through the entire install, and then it still says “update available” nothing changes.
I wouldn’t recommend updating from within the application always update either from the My Products page within your Account or from the product release pages within this community.
Same here. Same image. It appears to be installing the new “Topaz Video” (not updating “Topaz Video AI”) and a new icon is on my desktop for “Topaz Video”. But when I try to run the new software, it goes through configuration and then just disappears. Meanwhile “Topaz Video AI” still wants an update! At least “Topaz Video AI” is still working!
This is a glitch that is not clearing the update notification correctly and can be ignored. The last version of Video AI is 7.1.4 and there is not an update past that at this time.
The new app Topaz Video is a separate installer and app that the devs are focusing on going forward.
There is a push to the devs to release a patch for Video AI to clear this notification for users who are still using the app going forward instead of migrating over to the new app. There is not a definitive timeline for that or if it will happen.
Hi, are you sure? After fresh install 7.1.5 from your download, everytime I start Video AI I got this screen and “New Video Studio“ button appears.
Yeah, exactly. It does NOT resolve anything. This is not solved. Shame on the developers. There is SUCH confusion also over video and video ai - just trying to push another form of revenue. I was so happy with Topaz Video (original) until the AI started being pushed. In all honesty, most of the exports are crappy and would demand a refund if I didn’t have the original to fall back on.
I am having the same issue and the problem is since I have an A/B switch and multiple monitors it keeps locking it off screen and I can not drag it back on screen because this stupid advertisement for the new Topaz Video keeps locking it in place.
Topaz has definitely screwed up their recent releases with the AI and regular Video. It was fine until they rolled out their separately paid AI version of the same thing.
