How to watch rendered frames from Export Queue

Hi,

I am currently testing the Video AI 6 and thinking if I should upgrade. The new UI is taking some time to get used to. I can’t seem to find one feature that was available in previous versions. How can I watch the rendered frames from the export queue in v6?

In previous versions, when I started exporting a video, it allowed me to watch the rendered sequence while the process is running. It was very useful to go through the sequence to look for any artifacts. If an issue was found in any of the frames, I could just cancel the render and tweak the settings to fix the issue.

In Video AI 6, the Export queue is in a pop-up with a tiny status bar and a ‘Properties’ column showing what adjustments are being used. I already know what adjustment I used, it’s unnecessary to include this information in a ‘Export’ window. I would rather have the old feature where I can preview the rendered frames. There is a big blank space at the bottom of this window, which could easily fit a viewport to show the rendered frames.

Please, let me know if there is a way to watch a preview of the rendered sequence. Am I missing something? Thank you!

Live previews are coming to v7 very soon!

That’s good to know. Please keep the UI minimal for better usability. Any changes other than the Tab comparison view felt like unnecessary extra steps. Thanks!
