How to remove those double lines?

In a video I have these double contours, ghost images. It could possibly be the halo effect. I’ve tried a few things but can’t get rid of it. The source is PAL VHS from analog TV, digitalized via Digital8 camcorder with analog input and DV-Out. So the digital source is DV
