New purchaser of Topaz AI for my 2024 Mac Book Pro M3. I find the processing fast enough for single or small batches of photos with the newest version. Overall I’m pleased with one glaring exception.
Topaz AI will randomly replace some human subjects who have a lip (no teeth showing) smile and insert a bizarre and poorly done line of teeth! Face Recovery is the biggest culprit here, where overall recovery does lesser evil in this regard. Does anyone know a way around this when it occurs other than avoiding Face Recovery and only using full frame tools which still do this at times but to a lesser extent?
Might a future enhancement allow for reversal of teeth effects and only do upscale and sharpening?

Would you mind sharing some examples of these edits you are receiving to better help troubleshoot this problem with Face Recovery? You can possibly try lowering the Strength of Face Recovery in the Controls tab if you seem to receive over-processed images.
yes, I just did a face recovery and it completely removed the braces from my clients 3 daughters teeth… I would be mortified to send those to them with their braces removed and I cannot seem to get a clear enough face when I reduce the strength of the face recovery
