I keep having this problem where I am trying to use photo ai I to process some images. I click through baby 12 or 14 images one of the time because I like to adjust the settings before processing. Several times a day I have the problem where Photo ai doesn’t move to the next image. I can try and click on them but nothing happens. My only solution is to quit photo ai and then re-open and try again. This is very frustrating.
This happened to me too in earlier versions for example when I deleted one or another image and wanted to go back to a specific image the selection just did not respond.

Topaz Photo AI System Requirements
What file type are you using? How much RAM is on your computer?
They are all JPEG files, and I have 32 GB of ram. The computer is a brand new Mac studio pro. It happened to me twice again yesterday. I am only working with less than 20 files at a time. Usually around town at a time. It is very frustrating but when I Close down the program and open it back up again it will work just fine on the same Photos.
It happened on Windows 11 too!
I was able to find an issue where switching between two images could cause Topaz Photo AI to use a lot of RAM and freeze the application.
Waiting for a bit would cause the application to respond again.
Does that sound like what is happening?
I haven’t been able to reproduce the deleting one image causing the selection to no longer respond.
Next time the application stops responding, please open Topaz Photo AI, go to the menu bar on the top and click the Help > Open Log Folder menu option. Attach the bottom 3 logs files that you can see in the window that opens.
I should be able to determine what is happening and send next steps with this information.
No, I don’t think the whole application froze. It was just that when clicking on the desired image nothing happened. But it was still possible to select another image of the row!
