I’m having this issue as well. Attempted to export and it got stuck at downloading (or something) model. Aborted the export, closed and restarted the program and it worked >_>

Can you share the logs?

This morning, I updated, and it was able to render 2s. But when I hit “Export As” it hung again.

Here’s the log from that last run that hung.

I seem to be able to run the enhancement in the UI from in-to-out. But when I click “Export” or “Export As” the program just hangs.

OK I removed everything and did a clean install. Now it seems to be working again. So still don’t know what caused the problem.

I am having the same.
attempting the clean install as laid out above.

Fresh install did not solve the issue : (

This looks like an issue with the file location coming off a network drive, there was a bug in v5.2.0 that was causing issues with these types of files and the team created a patch in v5.2.1.

If the file is moved to the local hard drive for processing it should work without an issue.

Will there a be fix for this network issue as copying everything to local drive isn’t really convenient?
Both my PCs lock up Topaz as soon as i try and import anything.

The team is working on a patch for this issue with network files now and hoping to have it ready for release in the near future.

Yeah, stuck downloading model with 5.2.1

Time to roll back.

Having the same issues with the network drive export. Hangs on export to network drive.

Copied to local drive, but it’s tedious.

I also have the same importing issue with several recent versions including 5.2.2. Used to work fine. This has been my default mode of operation for years with Topaz and most other software.

Any network drives hang Topaz on open. Win 11.

Your log seems to show the app having an issue importing the video file, does it work with a different file or do all of the video files you try and work with stall like this?

The team is still working on a patch for network drives that are using IP addresses but their tests with named drives was working.

Can you try a different file from the same network drive and then share the logs?
