This may be fantastical, years from now, but worth thinking about. Consider an image with very limited depth-of-field, the center of which may be razor sharp, but due to bokeh/DOF, the areas in front of and behind the focus plane, the sharp areas, are increasingly blurred. It might be something to think about to be able to sharpen the out of focus areas increasingly the further from the center of sharp focus/(he focus plane. This may be a fantasy request, but with AI assisting, I think it could eventually be done.
