Kiting on the Swan River, Perth, WA. The hard landing was because the guy was being pulled downwind at probably 20Kt, straight toward a really nasty hedge on the land…only one option.

Not that easy either Don. They really move across the wind and you have to track, but when they decide to jump, without warning they suddenly circle back into the wind and shoot up into the air. Not at all easy to track. It took a couple of afternoons to get used to it.
