For several releases now Gigapixel just wont start up.
Just found how to make it - “Run as Administrator” seems to allow it to start. not sure how to fix it properly though.
I’ve got the same problem except I can’t even run it as Admin.

I purchased GPv8 a few days back and it won’t open for me either. I upgraded from v5.7.3.
Didn’t see until after I installed v8 that you have to uninstall all previous versions before installing the new one… Maybe make new versions of Gigapixel search for previous version during install and do this automatically if this is an important step in the upgrade process(?) 
A problem I have though is that I can’t uninstall v5.7.3 since the “Uninstall Topaz Gigapixel AI” in the program folder just is a shortcut that leads to an .exe that doesn’t exist…
Really annoying… And I’ve seen prople having similar problems with v7 as well(?) … Why wasn’t this issue solved before releaseing v8 to avoid the problem from happening again with another version??
