Received latest update to Gigalpixel AI and found that now the software does NOTHING when I click on the image and load it into the preview. I select any of the options and nothing happens. Zero. Zip. Nada. Why is this? Please fix asap. Everything was fine before your latest update.
Hello, if I may add my humble contribution, I’ve already written in another post what I’ve observed: with the latest version 7.4.1, indeed nothing happens in the preview window if the ‘Face Recovery’ feature is enabled on the Gen.2 BETA version, in either Realistic or Creative mode. If you switch to Gen.1 or disable ‘Face Recovery’, image restoration works again as before in the preview window. However, even with the BETA version of ‘Face Recovery’ activated, everything works normally in exported images. This is really a preview-level issue. An upgrade from Topaz would be most welcome as soon as possible, as this behavior of the application is disconcerting.
I confirm that Gigapixel AI 7.4.1 is not processing imported images at all.
I upgraded from a working 6er version.
Tried version 7.4.1 with CPU and GPU, but no change and no error messages. All AI profiles have been downloaded as required. Windows 10 Pro, Xeon E5-2687w V4, 128GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB.
It is quite annoying to here is nothing from support. I have the same issues. No preview, you can really not see what the output will be. I have to deliver images to my client.
Thanks for your reply. Question. My TOPAZ tells me there are 3 updates. Do I need to update each one in order? Or can I jump to the link you shared? V7.4.2
Thank you,
Michele
let’s have you go through the in-app updates first.
When you click on “3 updates available”, it should show you the latest 7.4.2 version at the top - go directly to the “Update” button. Do not click on the “Download other versions”.
Then continue to follow the prompt as normal.
But keep me posted if you run into any problems along the way. Please submit a ticket with our Support team and we can communicate via email more easily.
Exactly the same problem with me. I’ve just updated to the latest version and “redone” some photos I did previously. It shows no change at all to the originals, which previously showed enormous improvement.
Have your programmers inadvertently copied the same reference for the input panel to to the output panel so that it is literally displaying the same thing in both?
