Gigapixel AI. Error: Image failed to process or was cancelled

I’m on an M1 Mac, trying out the demo version. Everything is installed properly, or seems to be. I just can’t process any images, just a red bar with “Not Updated” and nothing will save.

Any ideas?

Updated to the latest OS.
Reinstalled Gigapixel and retried.
Deleted plist files.
Rebooted.

Don’t post under Photo AI for an issue with GigaPixel.
