I just updated to 8.1.1 and now I cannot use the software. As soon as I select an image and click “Export Image” within 2 seconds it crashes. This is consistent, completely 100% reproducible, and makes the software completely unusable. I have a crash report, but it’s not completely symbolicated so I don’t know how much help that will be.

I have the same issue with the new version, except it crashes after processing for a bit (more than two seconds). And the crash is silent. App just goes away.
Same here. I bet we’re all on Mac’s.
It seems that way. At least I got 8.0.2 to work reliably for my iMac M3. Photo Ai latest version works fine but Video Ai, I had to revert to 5.3.6 due to the stuttering and jittering output when upscaling.
My Topaz is doing the same thing. When I click on Export, it freezes. A real bummer and a burden to my work flow. For what I paid for this, it’s like a slap in the face.
My 8.1 Gigapixel either crashes, won’t launch or starts processing and then after about 3 hours - closes without finishing the upscale. I have sent in a ticket to customer service, but I have not heard anything back yet. 8.0 worked OK for me, but somehow this feels like a memory management issue caused by the 8.1 update.

I´ve the same problem on Mac M1 Pro with Sequoia and Gigapixel 8.1.1
Just updated and got the same problem, it crashes during upscaling or exporting the picture. I am using Windows 10
I did a little investigation and noticed that in my W10 laptop the app doesn’t crash if the AI processor is set to CPU, but if the AI processor is set to Intel HD Graphics or auto, it crashes in some stage of the process.
Just installed 8.1.2 and it does not let me export either from within Lightroom, or directly from the app.
I am running Mac Studio M1 Ultra on MacOS Sonoma.
Has there been any response from Topaz to these issues?
