Thank you for attaching your log files.

We are currently investigating some performance issues during our Beta release of our Redefine model and you logs will certainly help out developers.

We provided free Cloud Credits just for moments like this as a way to still make use of the model while we continue to improve. Have you had a chance to make use of our Cloud service?

I used Gigapixel mainly with Lightroom Classic. I didnt see any options of using Cloud while processing from lightroom Cassic. Would you mind show me the process ? I would love to try Cloud.

I also tried cloud render this morning. Result was ugly. Colors were way off compare to my original image. Left was Cloud, right was my original image.

Did you happen to make use of the image prompt for the Redefine model to better articulate your image request?

I think i just chose the redefine option and thats pretty much it.

If you select the “Advanced Settings” toggle within the model, you’ll have more control over the exported image.

But the problen is the output has different colors than my original image. I know those settings

Mine won’t render at all. It’s stuck at 1/4 of the way. I didn’t have this issue when I first installed v8. I have uninstalled and re-installed a fresh download and the problem still persists. I have a AMD Ryzen 9 5950x

Often, slow processing speeds can be indicative of a hardware complication. Would you mind sharing your full system profile in a private message so I may better investigate?

I just wanted to provide more insight is all. Our Beta models can come with some hiccups but if interested, you can send me your image and I can test this conflict locally.

You can securely submit one or two images to our Dropbox. Please let me know if you send something.

We will need the original file, the output file, and a screenshot of the settings used.

same to me! it is soooooo slow -also small pictures of just 1200x1200pixel getting not ready! on MacBook M4 MAX (!!!) I made upgrade to GP 8 because I thought that 8 brings huge improvements, but if there is not soon a huge speedbump TI want taking my money back.

Peter

just tried a photo and it didnt render at all for 1 hour so turned it off

I am very excited about @justin.topazlabs answer

@justin.topazlabs ? what’s the Answer from TOPAZ?

I have the exact same issue on m4 max. It’s so bad I had to turn off my laptop as the fans were on max and wouldn’t stop. I had to tell my friends not to think about getting the software as it doesn’t seem to work at all.

my redefine won’t work at all - its just stuck on processing

For me, both Generative Models are slow. Using Recover on a small photo that is about 760 * 540 takes very long on an M2 Pro, and it seems to hardly use CPU, but Gigipixel would easily consume 14GB or RAM during the processing.
Doing just a couple of small images in a batch takes hours, and even then, it seems stuck.

It looks a bit like a profile mismatch, assigning rather than converting, going from a larger to a smaller gamut. They should provide the details of the color management scheme used in their cloud render pipeline.
