Gigapixel 8.0.1 face recovery not working

The software has stopped producing any recovery results, and doesn’t enhance any other details in the image.
I’ve tested it by importing photos that have worked in the past, but the same bug is happening.
I tried uninstalling version 8 and installed the last version of 7 but I was still getting the same results.
The dimensions of the image are increasing, but when I compare the original vs gigapixeled in photoshop, there is no discernable difference.

Is anyone experiencing the same issue or have any suggestions to help fix this problem?

Same here. It’s abnormally slow / not working at all.

I upgraded a couple of days ago and everything was working fine until about 30 minutes ago. The last two images went through the rendering process and the result was no improvement on images that would usually see considerable improvement, even with the prior version. Not sure what’s going on.

If interested, you can provide me with the original images so I may test locally to better understand the cause of your conflicts.

You can securely submit one or two images to our Dropbox. Please let me know if you send something.

We will need the original file, the output file, and a screenshot of the settings used.

Hi Justin,
I just sent the files you asked for

Hi, I have just got latest version 8.0.1 and face recovery not working correctly either. It will work initially on one face but when it scans for two faces it doesn’t change? had been fine with version 7 and had hoped version 8 would be a improvement.

I’ve got 8.0.1. Today i used Recover (Face Recovery Gen 2. BETA). In the small preview it enhanced the parts of the image. It looked very good. I’ve hitted “Export Image”. It tooks about 45 minutes and after finished the image looks exactly the same as the original. Nothing got enhanced.

I did not upgrade to the new version, but recently the setting that lets me adjust face recovery froze and no longer lets me adjust the slide unless I choose the “low-res” option for the source.
