Gigapixel 8.0.1 crashes while trying to initialize image after upgrade on my Win 11 laptop. Before upgrade was working fine. I tried completely uninstalling and re-installing from a fresh download.

I’m having exactly the same problem. Gigapixel worked until the 8.0.1 upgrade. Now the progress bars moves to the end of its length and sits there for over an hour when I finally gave up. Windows 11 and Macbook Air M2. Same problem!

Same problem here with MAC desktop. Crashes everytime I try to use 8.01. The legacy app was fine! Now what?
I’m having the same issue and I have Windows 10. Starts to initialize and then when it’s done or about to be done it just closes up on me.

Here is my configuration:
- Operating System : Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
- Intel NUC Mini PC, NUC11PAHi7 Desktop PC
- CPU : 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz
- RAM : 16.0GB DDR4 SDRAM
- Graphics: Intel Iris Xe Graphics

same here- never had it before- crashes every time i open it, no help from support- i want a refund
So what I did to fix it since I didn’t have all the inbetweens, I only had the 7.3.1, I just reinstalled that one again and it’s working. I’ve since downloaded all the ones before 8.0.1 and will try them later but, now that we know all the others worked before this 8.0.1, I’m sure returning to the 8.0.0 or whatever you had last would get you working again.

PS - I use RevoUninstaller to get rid of all the root parts of a software when I uninstall. Makes it easy to start fresh.

Set the processor to CPU and it worked fine for a few days. It’s just started crashing again. Any suggestions?
I have been able to get it to stop crashing on my Mac by deleting the lastSessionFiles.txt from : Library/Application Support/Topaz Labs LLC/Topaz Gigapixel AI/Logs
