Have been using Gigapixel AI now for a couple of weeks and have noticed that if I drag and drop an image, the screen instantly turns black and the whole system restarts.
Not sure if it happens every time but have seen it often enough to avoid trying.
Have seen it once also when copy-pasting an image but so far not when using the Open dialog.
Is this a known issue.

It sounds like something with your PC might be askew.
Have you checked to see if your machine meets Gigapixel v7 minimum system requirements?

My system may very well be at the lower end of the recommended specifications, but if I open an image and it doesn’t crash, then there is no problem processing the image, even though it may sometimes take considerable time.
And even if there should be something that makes Gigapixel choke and crash, it shouldn’t crash and restart the whole system just like that.
I mean, this is something we could expect to see back in the Windows 3 days, surely not with Windows 10.
