I have a question that someone might be able to answer for me? I have come across some videos uploaded to the net where they were converted to 50fps. The source videos of these files were 25fps, however, it seems that despite having the frame rate doubled, there’s no physical difference to the original.
I have done tests with the latest Beta where I converted a segment of video (scrolling end credits) back to 25fps Then, using Chronos at 100%, converted back to 50fps and achieved the much better smooth playback that I’m looking for!
However, what I am wondering is when I use VEAI to convert the 50fps of a video such as this back to 25fps, could I end up losing frames, and if so, can someone suggest a safer way of doing so?
