When using the Lightroom Classic “Plugin Extras” menu and “Process with Photo AI” the first image at the bottom of the Photo AI screen never shows a thumbnail image in the bottom row where all the images are queued up.
Steps to reproduce issue:
Select 9 Sony .ARW files (mine are from a Sony a1)
Use the “Plugin Extras” menu and “Process with Photo AI” sub-menu item
Look in the bottom left corner of the screen at the firm item in the queue of images imported for processing
Note that it does not have a thumbnail, it just shows a white square, whereas all other images have proper thumbnails.
Would you mind sending in some more information to get a better understanding of the problem you are having with this particular type of image? Please send the following information:
The original image file.
The processed image.
A screenshot or description of the settings panel so I can see what adjustments were turned on.
You can securely submit your image(s) to my Dropbox using the link below.
Ok, I uploaded a folder (BrockGSBugReport_2024-05-16.zip) with the 9 original .ARW images, and then the exported .DNG files. There’s nothing wrong with the exported files, it is just a cosmetic issue that the first photo in the Topaz Photo AI queue has no thumbnail either in the primary view or in the view that shows all the files being exported.
Thanks for sending in those files. I was not able to replicate the issue you are reporting regarding the first image preview in your batch processing not being displayed.
I’d still like to get some information from the developers in order to investigate this. Would you please take a screen recording of this behavior so I can see exactly what is happening?
Thanks for sending in that information. I have made a task for my team to investigate and will be sure to reach out once we have more information about this problem.
