So… which exactly videos failed? No idea. They’re all similar takes (image-to-video, with the same first frame). Tons of UI is wasted, but the filename is not displayed. Why?
This is a great idea! Don’t forget to ‘vote’ for it!
That said, if you’d like to share the app’s logs, I can take a look and let you know the input file name for the ones that failed. Feel free to email them to us if you prefer help@topazlabs.com
To gather logs, please select Help > Logging > Get Logs for Support and attach the zip file to your reply.
This is a problem in all the Topaz software I think.
All dialog windows need to be both moveable and stretchable - it’s a standard Windows GUI facility.
Fixed size dead centre windows impede workflow and don’t allow position adjustment for taking screen snips whether for error reporting or creating instruction/advice posts.
In my opinion it is inexcusable bad practice not to include such standard Windows features in any software. It is lazy and needs to be corrected. I was an IT university senior lecturer for 10 years - if a 1st year student did this they would get a bare pass if a 2nd year student submitted work doing this they would FAIL !
Users have been commenting about this issue and other GUI failures for ages but Topaz seems to make a point of stubbornly refusing to acknowledge comments or make any effort to resolve them.
Please Topaz sort these problems out ! As things stand your software is a FAIL in this GUI category.
