The bug / behavior you have encountered
I am trying to Trim a video file in Topaz video AI by replicating either the IN or OUT points of my video as indicated by Davinci Resolve in order not to process the whole clip, but only the part I need.
But the Timecode reported by Video AI is inacurate since it starts from 00:00:00:00 while the Timecode in my file starts at 03:23:45:07 as reported in Davinci Resolve as well as in MediaInfo.
So I tried the workaround of working with frame numbers, but Davinci Resolve reports 5409 frames for the clip while Video AI reports 3012 frames, thus it is inconsistent again (the clip is being displayed in its whole length, the start and end frames display the same content in both applications). The file is recongnized as 25fps in both applications. This is a rush straight out of a Sony A7sIII camera.
So please report proper Timecode or let us choose between a Timecode that stats at 00:00:00:00 and the real Timecode embeded in the file and make sure you display the correct frame numbers. -
