A suggestion: please, consider adding a slider for brightness (like exposure compensation) to Adjust Lighting.

In the ideal world, what you say “Adjust Lighting filter modifies exposure and contrast to produce a well-lit and vibrant image” would have been true 100%.
In real-life usage, it does happen sometimes that an image becomes uniformly darker after Adjust Lighting (set to 10 or higher). This is particularly true when Balance Color is applied as well.
Balance Color would typically make images darker, in my experience.
I do like how Adjust Lighting optimizes the light by reducing highlights and lifting shadows. It is the total light (exposure) that can be not ideal at the end.
Thus, having an option similar to exposure compensation would be really useful in Photo AI.
I speak from experience of using the program on a daily basis.
