Context: I review my recently processed videos through the Export Queue. Sometimes, the video does not turn out the way I’d like and requires a few tweaks.
Problem: To make tweaks to an export is currently cumbersome - I need to locate and open the associated source file (I work with a large number of files so this can be time consuming), use the Copy Settings function from the Export Queue, paste the settings to the clip, then do the changes.
Request: In Export Queue > Right-click video > New Export Using These Settings. Will open the source video and load the settings used to export it as per the selected export. This will allow users to easily perform tweaks to the export settings.
Side note: when a file is already open in VideoAI, clicking that source clip (or dragging from the OS) the previous export settings will be loaded (which is good), however, often I’ll perform multiple exports from the same source file (eg different settings and different in/out points), so I might want to use a different set of export settings other than the previous (hence the request for this feature).
