Context: Processing many videos can take a several hours, I like to move my source media progressively queue is progressing. Video AI will hold a file lock on each source files once it is loaded into the app. This means I can’t move or rename the source media, even though there is no work in the upcoming export queue. To be able to touch the file in Windows I need to close it in Video AI (this is expected behaviour).
Problem: In the Sources section right-clicking a video you get the option “Close all videos”. This does what it is expected, closes all the videos. However, it also closes and cancels any clips currently processing or queued for export. It would be nice if it only closed source files that are not outstanding in the export queue, or at least prompted (there are items queued for export - do you wish to close them?).
