Feature Request | Silk Grid Removal In Scanned Photos

Unfortunately, some photographers don’t provide digital copies. This often applies to school or kindergarden photos. The prints are also often printed with a silk grid/silk screen. Using Photo AI, the faces are restored really great. Unfortunately, the other parts of the photo still contain the grid or the optimization process produced just a different noise.

I couldn’t figure out a ways to get this working, so this would be a really useful feature to me, which I would love to see in Photo AI.

I achieved the best results by using Noiseware 6 on the photo and afterwards Photo AI. Since both programs compete, one should do the job.

Thank you for sharing your input! We understand the challenges you’re facing with printed photos, especially when it comes to the silk screen/grid and noise issues. Your suggestion for improving how Photo AI handles these specific types of prints is definitely valuable.
