I often work with digital copies from my VHS’s, which I would like to brighten up while deinterlacing them. Such a feature would be absolutely fantastic!
I find Photo AI useful for low quality files that are provided to me for Graphic design projects I work on. However these same files also need tone and color adjustments. These types of adjustments I found in a Topaz product I tried out several years ago, Adjust AI. This would allow Photo AI to be a one stop program for many of these low quality files. Currently I have to use Photo AI along with either Lightroom or Photoshop to make all of the required adjustments to these poor quality files. Why not incorporate basic color and tone adjustments of Adjust AI into Photo AI, since Topaz already has the software developed for doing this? This one stop software would streamline many graphic designer’s workflow.
@Ken_Photo Good news: we’re releasing exposure and color correction functionality with v2.0 on September 7! Please update when that’s available and you’ll be do all your editing in one app.

Thanks for your reply. The new Adjust Lighting and Balance Color are nice additions, but they do not give you the necessary tools to do all image editing in one app. They are a good start but additional tools need to be added. If Topaz would add the same tools available in Adjust AI, then for many pictures, Photo AI would be sufficient to do all of the image editing. Since Topaz already invested the software development time in creating Adjust AI, then it seems like Adjust AI’s capabilities could be ported/incorporated into Photo AI. This would make Photo AI a great stand alone program.

I use both Topaz Photo AI and DXO Photolab. For most photos, I find Photolab better because it has more tools, provides more adjustments and is good for an average amount of noise. I normally save Photo AI for photos with a large amount of noise or where I need to resize a low resolution image, and I would use Photo AI more if it had more image adjustments like Photolab.

DXO Also has White Balace 4 Digits.More Accurate White Balance.
There can be choices Like As Shot,Aoto Pilot can have Settings Like As Shot ,Auto,Load Camera Profile"DCP",Match Color Chart.
I posted about this before and so not I show now I show that photo ai auto piolit settings not being applied from settings.
I do like that I can select background/subject in Tpai, but it missing some very basic controls to adjust selection.
Lighting adjustment just adjusts the light the way it wants it. If I want to make, for example, background darker - I cannot do it. Like below back is dark grey, and I want it black.
Or am I missing something?
It will be useful to have this feature
I’m loving the latest upgrade to this wonderful application, but I’d love it even more if it had adjustment capacity for contrast, with black/grey/white point selection, in addition to the exposure adjustment. Most times I can take my RAW shots into PhotoAI, tweak the exposure and sharpening if necessary, and I’m finished; but when the shot has been taken under less than ideal conditions the contrast needs some finessing and I then have to import the image into a second app to make the adjustments.
If this is something you can address, your product would be a perfect one-stop solution for me.
