Feature Improvement | Zoom In/Out Able To Be Used With Mouse

I have a feature request for zoom controls other than command(+) and command(-)
Scrollwheel zoom in/out control would be helpful.
Command+Spacebar controls like Adobe

I want to use pinch to zoom on the mac trackpad to change the zoom level.

Thanks for sharing, this is on our to-do list.

Yes. This is annoying. It was there in earlier versions

Is there no way to zoom in and out the image just using the trackpad or mouse? I have to use the keyboard shortcuts all the time for this, which is not as efficient as just zooming into an image using a pointing device.

Currently this is not a feature in Topaz Photo AI, the keyboard shortcuts would be your best option as a workaround.

I will add this suggestion to our feature request list so that your input can be reviewed by the appropriate development team.

Your feedback is 100% valuable! We greatly value our users’ feedback and take each request into consideration when working on updates and improvements. It helps to give us more insight on what our apps are needed for, and ultimately what direction we need to take to fulfil that need.

Using a scroll wheel or thumb scroll to change the brush size would be really welcome here. I’ve got my mouse set to zoom using the scroll wheel and brush size to change using the thumb scroll. It makes me crazy sometimes to not have that option.

Any progress on this? If we can have customizable shortcuts or add a few additional options such as; scroll up/down, side scrolling would be a great default (Currently I hold a key on my mouse set to “space”), another suggestion would be for the “Apply Autopilot” option. Even if they are pre-configured, I could map them via Logitech Options+ and would be an easy value-add.

I know this is off topic, but it would be nice if we could pan and scroll without a full re-render every time. The initial process takes just as long as an export, so I really don’t understand this at all honestly…

Thank you! Let me know if you guys need any help or volunteers!

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions! The ability to customize shortcuts and add additional options like scroll up/down and side scrolling is on our development team’s radar. While we don’t have an exact timeline for when this will be implemented, we truly appreciate your ideas and will keep them in mind as we continue to enhance the software.

Regarding the pan and scroll functionality, we understand your concern, and we’ll also consider this for future improvements.

Thanks again for your valuable input and for offering to help! It’s users like you that help make our application better.

Hello,

I would like to suggest a Zoom feature like Gigapixel. The zoom clicking only via menu feels like something is missing. We have mouses with great scroll systems, Macs with multitouch features that easily could zoom but it does nothing.

Please, consider to make it easy the zoom shortcut via mouse instead of just clicking. It’s a so modern software that we believe deserves this feature also.

Thanks in advance !

Fabricio

Makes sense, we’ll be investigating this.

I couldn’t be bothered with the menu options either. I use keys: Command + or Command - (MacOS).

I have my Wacom setup to scroll using two-finger press but Photo AI overrides it and instead zooms in/out. Huh? The expected shortcut for zooming in pinching with thumb and forefinger. That works, so I have two methods for zooming, but have to hold down Space and then stylus to scroll, when I could simply use two-finger press and scroll. Please follow other apps that all use pinch to zoom, and two-fingers to scroll (customisable, so not all may use two-fingers but all apps I use, such as Photoshop, ACR, Lightroom, honour my Wacom prefs).

Currently the keyboard shortcut for 100% (CMD+1 on Mac) only works if the magnification is <100%. I would very much like the shortcut to work for magnifications >100% as well. In other words, if I crop an image to the point that “Fit” results in >100% magnification, I would like the CMD+1 shortcut to work to return the magnification back to 100%.

Thanks.

It would speed up my workflow considerably if I could also do the zooming of images with the combination of mouse wheel + command key in the zoom in or zoom out function. Instead of clicking on the %

Makes sense, this is on our to-do list! I’ll bring it up again with the developers.

Great!! Thank you Tim
