Feature Improvement | Additional Brush Options for Remove Object

Hello,

under the option “Remove Object” in Photo AI, the only available brush is a ball-shaped one. This might be oke for the majority of users, for me it’s a daily source of frustration and annoyance.

As I have to remove long, straight-lined objects and/or objects with a 90 degree angle in it multiple times a day, having only a round removal-brush available is pure h#ll.

Is it possible to add some additional brushes in Photo AI, like for exemple a square, a (long) bar or a triangle with a 90 degree angle in it? Would be very helpfull.

Thanks, from a happy Topaz-user,

JQ

Hi JQ.

Have you tried the other Selection Tools for instance you can choose between the Superpixel, Standard, or Object Selection brushes.

Here’s a brief description for each I’ve pasted from the Topaz Documentation

The Superpixel brush detects the boundaries between objects and backgrounds and makes educated guesses about which areas should be masked.

The Standard brush is a regular masking brush.

The Object Selection brush is similar to Superpixel except it is specifically tailored for identifying and selecting entire objects.

Hope this helps

I would love an option to reduce the opacity on a brush - to use a little bit of it in areas instead of on/off

Certainly Opacity and Flow would be fantastic options if Topaz decided to implement them.

Adding to my previous reply are you aware that when using any of Selection Brushes you can use the keyboard shortcut key Alt / Option to switch between Paint and Erase " + & - " options
