(Less than 10 min. after this was taken, it was completely dark and raining.) 3 bracketed shots were merged and tone mapped in Aurora 2018; it was then further edited in Topaz Studio. An uncropped and a cropped version are presented. Which do you prefer, and why?

Prefer the cropped because the foreground is made more interesting, no vacant areas …

Thanks, Don. I prefer the cropped version because it highlights those fantastic clouds above the main subject.
