since moving to 1.4.0 what used to take about 90 seconds now is taking 25 minutes. plust downloading models takes forever as well.

Can you send the logs to the support team to review what is going on? You can email them directly to us at help@topazlabs.com.

To gather logs, please select Help > Logging > Get Logs for Support and attach the zip file to your reply.

Here is a video to help with the steps of how to collect the logs.

It is possible that some of the settings were reverted to a default setting, and the app is not using your GPU correctly.

Open the Preferences Panel and let’s change the following settings.

File>Preferences>Processing

  1. Ensure that your GPU is selected for the AI Processor

  2. Set the max memory to 80%

  3. Set max processes to 1

  4. Save the settings and close the panel.

  5. Re-run your clip through the process that you were trying.
