Export fails with stabilization error

When trying to export a video with 3 passes of stabilization, the export fails with a message that I can’t find, but seemed to be related to saving or retrieving stabilization information. When I decrease the number of passes to 2, the export completes without error. Note: 30 second Preview works fine with 3 passes of stabilization.

My system is a M1 MacBook Pro with 64GB memory, macOS Sequoia 15.6.1, 120GB free disk space, Topaz Video 7.1.1. Not sure what else is needed for the system profile.

The video is an .mp4 from a Canon D20 waterproof camera (old!). I have also have the export to use Proteus for general Enhancement, and Themis for Motion Deblur. I have not tried turning these off to see if the problem still occurs.

Also - I was running a batch of nine videos when I saw this error hitting several of the videos, so I stopped everything, reduced the number of passes to 2, and reran one video to success. I am now re-running the rest of the videos, but am seeing some stop with the error again.

Please let me know if you need anything else. Three passes on stabilization is not critical for me, I was just trying it out, and am reporting it in case it is of help to you.

Thanks!
Jon

Update: All the videos were re-run with three passes last night (unintentionally), and they all completed successfully. Four had to have their exports restarted, but eventually completed. I don’t know why they didn’t work the first time through. Hopefully something in the logs will provide some insight. Thanks!

The logs are pointing to an issue with calling the model correctly for processing and this is something the team is looking into as it directly effects users in version 7.1.1.

We are recommending most users roll back to version 7.1 or 7.0.2 to avoid that issue if they want to do so.
