Export Back to Lightroom Classic Question

When I export a photo back to Lightroom Classic, that photo gets placed at the end of the folder containing the original that I sent to Photo AI. Is there a way to export the photo next to the original? Thank you for any help.

Can you check the following settings in your Photo AI application:

  • Open Photo AI as a standalone application.

  • Go to Edit > Preferences > Application > Lightroom Classic

  • Make sure the option Place processed images back into collections is On

    • If not, toggle the option and click Save.

Once you have set this option, the plugin will add your file back to your collection, stacked beside the original file.

Hi kdvercella.

There’s a bug in Lightroom’s Develope Module if you change the order of the thumbnails within the Film Strip.

For instance, if you move one thumbnail Infront or behind another thumbnail, then Lightroom will place all proceeding thumbnails at the end of the Film Strip until you restart Lightroom again
