Video AI was freezing. Had to force quit. After reopening, Topaz was empty. Nothing saved. „Logs for support“ seems to only show data from nearly 48hs ago. I am also attaching a 17.9MB log file from shorty before the crash. Also attaching the Apple crash Report as PDF (1,1167 Pages). The sysdiagnose is 419MB. If you really need that, I will upload it to Swisstransfer and send you the link.

It looks like there might be an issue with the metadata of your file. Can you try converting your input using Handbrake and then try importing the converted version back into Video AI for processing to see if that prevents the issue?
- Drag and drop your video to import it
- I recommend going to the “dimensions” tab and under “resolution limit” > none
- I also recommend going to the “video” tab and under “framerate (FPS)” > Same as source
- Then click “start”
This will ensure that it retains the original resolution and frame rate with the converted file.
I have done the convertion later succesfully. So I don’t think it has something to do with the metadata. Before the crah happened, I have paused Video AI for a moment to give Handbranke the full Computer Power for a more important convertion. After I wanted to turn the tasks in Video AI back on, the freeze happened.
Is the freeze only happening after you resume a paused export?
I have no clear answer for this. It happens from time to time,m but as long as the convertion keeps going after the freeze / crash, I just ignore it. If I knew 100% after what action the freeze happened, I would have tola you.
