Error Running Model in Version 2.0.2 when saving to Lightroom

Topaz finished processing and scaling a TIF photo that was 12.8 MB. When trying to save it back to Lightroom 2024 v.25, when the saving bar got to the end, it displayed Error: Error running model. It also shows that it is going from 38.3MB → 157.6MB. I don’t know how where the 38.3 came from since the starting file was 12.8 MB. The file was sharpened and scaled to 36 inches x 24 inches.
(I tried to include a screenshot but don’t see how to do that with this form.)

I tried to include a log, but when I press Create Topic this form gives a message saying “Sorry. You cannot post a link to this host.”

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. From Lightroom, right click image, tell it use copy with Lightroom edits, use TIF format.
  2. After Topaz process the file, tell it to scale the file.
  3. When the process is complete, tell Topaz to save the file.

Topaz Photo AI [v2.0.2] on [Windows]

Taking the TIF file directly into Topaz, without using Lightroom, and telling Topaz to save it as a JPEG produces the same error.

Turning off Face Detect bypassed the error.
Also, Photoshop said to update the Nvidia driver and that also eliminated the error.

I’m glad to hear you were able to fix it.

If it happens again, please open Topaz Photo AI, go to the menu bar on the top and click the Help > Open Log Folder menu option. Attach the logs to your reply so I can check the contents and let my team know so we can fix it.
