Error opening installation log file upgrading from 7.4.1 to 7.4.2

I renewed my subscription to Gigapixel and upgraded to 7.4.1 a few days ago without any problem. Tonight I tried to upgrade to 7.4.2. The file seemed to download fine, but when I clicked the blue “install update” button, I received a Windows Installer Error message: “Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable” and Gigapixel closed. When I reopened Gigapixel (still 7.4.1) and go to the Open Log File in the help menu, a folder opens just fine:
This PC>Windows(C:)>ProgramData>Topaz Labs LLC >Topaz Gigapixel AI.Logs .

In the folder I see several .tzlog files from tonight, a lastsessionfiles.txt from 8/31 and a Topaz Gigapixel AI Installer Log.txt from 8/31 when I renewed and upgraded to 7.4.1.

I’ve tried multiple times, but it Gigapixel simply closes with the same error message.

Hi Kevin - thanks for letting us know.

This error message maybe a file permission issue on their computer.

Let’s have you delete the existing installer log files and try running the new 7.4.2 installer again.

Delete this file and reopen Gigapixel and run the Install Update again.
