Error on first attempt at using Video AI 6 trial

First time using this product as a trial. Attempted to sharpen a video with a 10 second preview and got an error. I have attached the log. Possibly my PC is not up to the job. It is fairly old but runs After effects, Photoshop, Premiere etc fine still.

Yes, the GTX 1050 Ti is below the System Requirements for Video AI and that is causing your error when trying to run the models on your clip.

You might be able to run one model on a clip, but running Themis, Apollo, Proteus and Hyperion in one pass is not going to work. That is overloading the 4GB of VRAM that you have on your GPU. The app really needs 6GB to run and with each model added it increases the resource needs.

Open the Preferences Panel and change the following settings.

File>Preferences>Processing

  1. Ensure that your GPU is selected for the AI Processor
  2. Set the max memory to 80%
  3. Set max processes to 1
  4. Save the settings and close the panel.
  5. Re-run your clip through the process that you were trying.

If you run into an issue again, please send me the updated logs for further review to the support team and we can take a look and try to assist more. help@topazlabs.com
