A bit offtopic, but just out of interest: How much faster is the 4070 vs. the 4060?
Hi, not very much! It’s a mistake comparing these two GPUs as gaming vs rendering cards. Combined they should nearly double the processing time.

Correction 2:
Double SPEED was a bit exaggerated, but something around ~1.5-7. I’ve made some tests where it looks like this:
Artemis/Low:
RTX4070: 2m9s
RTX4060(in PCIEx4G3): 4m4s
Iris/Low:
RTX4070: 7m34s
RTX4060(in PCIEx4G3): 7m48s
So it depends very much on what process You will run.

Hi again, so on-topic, what is there to say concerning “All GPUs”? I purchased (3500SEK/~300USD) this extra graphics card in a strong belief that a RTX4060 should be able to co-exist/-work with a RTX4070 as they both use the same encoder, was I wrong in that assumption?

Hi, and another “a bit off topic” reponse. I have now performed some tests with batch NVENC rendering. The result shows that I wasn’t that far off when I wrote “double SPEED”. The RTX4060 located in the PCIE16X4(3G3) socket finished the AV1-encoding process in 45s while the RTX4070 located in the PCIE16x16(G4)-socket finished in 43s.
