Apologies for the delay in response, we have been working through a backlog on the forums and several posts were not tagged when being created by the system.
It looks like there was a corrupt packet or frame in the video source that caused a stall and then crash on the processing task. The app tried to continue past but ended up failing.
Can you try converting your input using Handbrake and then try importing the converted version back into the app for processing?
-
Drag and drop your video to import it
-
I recommend going to the “dimensions” tab and under “resolution limit” > none
-
I also recommend going to the “video” tab and under “framerate (FPS)” > Same as source
-
Then click “start”
This will ensure that it retains the original resolution and frame rate with the converted file.
If that does not work, please email the support team directly with the updated logs at help@topazlabs.com and we can investigate further.
At this point I don’t even remember what the problem is. But that seems like a LOT of effort for whatever it was.
At the moment I stopped using the software as it gave me too many errors and having to re learn how to use it with every update is getting frustrating. I can’t even find the switches you mentioned.
I do my videos in DaVinci studio. I don’t remember what the issue or video was, but I don’t intend to use Handbrake. If DaVinci studio output doesn’t work in Topaz, that is an issue with Topaz.
But again I don’t remember the issue or the video at this point.
Understood, thank you for the reply and letting me know that information.
